The long-gestating reboot of Battlestar Galactica is no longer in development at Peacock, Variety has learned exclusively. The project was first announced back in 2019 ahead of Peacocks official launch as part of the streamers initial slate of original programming. It was never formally ordered to series, though, and has been in development ever since.
