Uber Driver Helps Woman Get Revenge On Guy Who Ditched Her On Their Date

My favorite films almost always have a buddy element. They can be buddy comedies or action comedies or any situation where two people who've decided to become pals, against the odds, form an unbreakable bond that carries them through some tough times.
So when I heard about this story of a Florida Uber driver who happened upon a despondent soul who claimed she flew from Texas to meet a man who supposedly ditched her, I began to tear up a little bit.
Because their story is one that pretty much packs all of those things I love about amazing buddy films. Thankfully, the Uber driver, aka "La Loba" chronicled the entire wild ride.
I was driving for uber today & this girl gets in the car. I ask her hows her day been & she breaks down. She tells me that she flew alone from Texas to see a guy & he abandoned her so I did what I would want someone to do for me. I invited her to hang out with my friends & I.

To which Leah declined.

— la loba (@vickto_willy) December 10, 2017After talking about this guy some more, La Loba critically analyzed some shady sounding information. The guy was allegedly being mad secretive and reportedly said he didn't want his coach to find his car parked at the hotel he visited Leah at.
She just told us that when he came to her hotel, he asked her where he could park his car so no one would see it. He claim since he plays for FSU his coach would be mad if he knew he was there. Likeeee I’m pissed! He clearly hiding something. What y’all think? pic.twitter.com/4ow9dDdVC6

— la loba (@vickto_willy) December 10, 2017Things escalated rather quickly. Turns out that the combination of alcohol, being in a new city, and getting ditched by a guy you flew hundreds of miles to see was a recipe for emotional disaster.
Update: She stage dived. I have no words. This has become a responsibility greater than I could have ever imagined. She’s heart broken. Her emotions are everywhere and the alcohol has enhanced that. I don’t regret it. At least she’s having fun.

Update: His name is Aaron King. She standing outside the club. I tried to tell her not to call. Based on every excuse he’s used to avoid her, he either has a girlfriend or is a sociopath. — la loba (@vickto_willy) December 10, 2017La Loba could've noped out of the situation. She could've not gotten emotionally involved and kept her relationship with Leah on a low-level, you know, a normal, appropriate level of attachment for someone who was really just an Uber passenger.
Thankfully, she didn't. After finding out who this guy was, she called him up and demanded to know who he was and why he thought he could supposedly abandon Leah the way he did.
